Common trouble shooting tips

If you smell melting or burning plastic, or see sparks or fire, UNPLUG the amplifier from the wall and contact customer service.

Symptom
Solution
There is no vibration at all.
  • Is the DVD/CD player playing a song?
  • Check all connections to ensure all cables are firmly attached. Refer to the instruction manual to know what types of cables and how they should be connected.
  • Make sure the supplied amplifier is turned on and the volume knob is not set to "0". For testing purposes, turn the volume knob to half-way.
  • There is a burning or melting plastic smell coming from the mat.
  • Unplug the amplifier from the wall.
  • Check all cables for any melting or shorting.
  • Contact Nexneuro customer service.
  • There is little vibration coming through the mat.
  • Make sure the volume on the Amplifier is turned up. (this is not the same as the volume on the DVD/CD player.)
  • If you are using headphones with volume control, make sure you are plugged into the Fiio E3 headphone amplifier.
  • Symptom
    Solution
    The amplifier shows a blue light then suddenly switches to a red light.
    If this is happening during a session it could be a number of things:
  • Ensure the amplifier is getting proper air flow and not over heating.
  • Check all wire connections. If metal connectors are touching the amplifier will shut off.
  • If this happens immediately after you turn the amplifier on:
  • Check all wire connections. If metal connectors are touching the amplifier will shut off.
  • It is possible that a fuse inside the amplifier has blown. Refer to the owners manual for instructions on changing the fuse.
  • Symptom
    Solution
    There is no sound in the headphones
  • If you are using the Fiio headphone amplifier, the AAA battery might need to be replaced if the red indicator battery is not on.
  • If the headphones have volume control built in, make sure the volume is turned up
  • Make sure all connections are tight and secure.
  • Make sure the volume on the DVD/CD player is turned up. (this is not the same as the Amp volume)
